The Business Legal Lifecycle

At Peregrine Law, we are committed to being business enablers and to helping people start and run their own businesses. With this in mind, we were proud to be asked to be the UK editor of The Business Legal Lifecycle by its Australian author, Jeremy Streten.

Confused about the legal requirements of transforming your business idea into a reality? Baffled by the legal protection of your clients, employees and intellectual property? Uncertain on how to consolidate your business and bring in investors?

The Business Legal Lifecycle is a practical guide, empowering you to anticipate and solve legal issues at every step of your business journey. From the birth of your business to its eventual end, The Business Legal Lifecycle is a concise companion for any entrepreneur and provides guidance on the legal aspects of each phase of growing your business profitably. Knowing what legal processes to be following at each stage is crucial to go from start-up to success story, and the Business Legal Lifecycle translates daunting ‘legalease’ into clear advice to enable your business to progress with purpose.

The book is structured into 13 phases, which align with each developmental stage of your business. Important considerations and common risks are highlighted at every step to enable you to navigate the pathway with intention and clarity.

Peregrine Law celebrated the UK launch of the Business Legal Lifecycle and our role as UK editor at an official release party on 27 November 2018. We hosted the author of, and the inspiration behind, the Business Legal Lifecycle, Jeremy Streten, alongside several successful entrepreneurs for a panel discussion in London on ‘How to scale your fast-growth business’.

Joining our panel, we had Andrew Adcock, CMO of Crowd for Angels; Joel Crouch, CEO of Eventbrite; Lucy Chamberlain, Founder of C&C Search; Tim Savage, Founder and CEO of Armakuni and Yunna Takeuchi, Co-Founder and CMO of City Unscripted.
