Peregrine Law was delighted to act for new client Tonik Energy recently on its £10 million investment from Japanese multinational firm, Mitsui & Co.

The firm has recently launched its first 100% renewable electricity tariff and supplies around 100,000 customers.
Japanese firm Mitsui & Co. is an experienced investor in the power and mobility sectors and has invested in Tonik as part of its plans to expand its global downstream business and services in the gas and power sectors. Mitsui & Co is one of the largest Japanese investment firms and is committed to building a sustainable future.
In its latest fundraiser, Tonik Energy received over £13 million to help launch its combined affordable energy supply with renewable energy saving technologies, including battery storage, solar power and electric vehicles.
