Peregrine Law is really pleased to be shortlisted for the award of Excellence in International Legal Services in The UK Law Society’s Excellence Awards 2019.
The Law Society’s Excellence Awards are the highest accolade for law firms in the UK and celebrate the very best in the legal profession.
The Excellence in International Legal Services Award specifically recognises law firms with an innovative approach to the delivery of cross-border legal services and the impact that they have made globally. Law Society president Simon Davis said: “The firms and solicitors shortlisted should be commended for going above and beyond to support their clients, often navigating tricky and sometimes contentious areas of the law.”
Peregrine Law was established in 2016 because we perceived a gap in the provision of English legal services to UK and global SMEs with ambitions to trade internationally and believe that English legal advice should be easily accessible to businesses whatever their size or global location. We are addressing this through our flat, cost-effective, new law structure designed with clients needs in mind.
International legal work has been at the heart of our business since day one and we love doing cross border work for our ambitious, diverse and multicultural business clients.
Peregrine Law has a proud international identity which has allowed us to overcome cultural and language barriers. We have solicitors from Australia, France, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Sri Lanka and Switzerland. Our managing director has worked as a lawyer in Beijing, Hong Kong, London and Sydney, and three of our lawyers currently live and work outside the UK.
Nigel Clark, co-founder and CEO of Peregrine Law, said: “We’re very excited to be nominated. We’re only 3 years old and it’s great that the legal market is recognising new models like ours. We’ve got amazing clients from around the world and a brilliant team of multicultural lawyers.”
Winners are announced at the Law Society’s Excellence Awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London on 23 October 2019.
